The plan to make Lakewood one of the most bike-friendly
cities in Ohio has hit the pavement.
Both figuratively and literally.
The paint is drying on the new bike lanes on Franklin Boulevard — from W. 117th Street to Warren Road — stenciled late last month and finished this week.
“There are still a couple of touch-ups, but it’s substantially complete,” said Dru Siley, the city’s director of planning and development.
