Woman Wakes Up to Find Her TV Stolen

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lakewood Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Burglary

A woman in the 2100 block of Lewis Avenue told police that she woke up to find that her TV had been stolen at around 5:30 a.m. Sept. 18. Police are investigating.

Police were called to a home in the 1200 block of Bonnieview Avenue at around 5:30 a.m. Sept. 15, after receiving a report of a man and woman fighting. The woman locked herself in the bathroom. The man was charged with domestic violence.

Boy throwing rocks

A boy was spotted throwing rocks at vehicles as they passed the intersection of Detroit and Ridgewood avenues at around noon Sept. 16. The boy was gone by the time officers arrived. 

Petty theft

An employee at Quaker Steak and Lube told police that someone stole $200 from her purse sometime during her shift at around 6 p.m. Sept. 16.

Noise, disorderly conduct

After responding to a noise complaint in the 1400 block of Ridgewood Avenue at around 12:45 a.m. Sept. 19, officers charged a woman with disorderly conduct and for violating the city’s noise ordinance.
