Woman Robbed by Her Granddaughter

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lakewood Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Robbery

A woman told police that her granddaughter robbed her at the at the corner of Clifton Boulevard and W. 117th Street at around 9:30 p.m. Aug. 16. The granddaughter got away with an unreported amount of cash.

A man was arrested and charged with domestic violence after he beat up his girlfriend in an apartment in the 1300 block of Cove Avenue around midnight on Aug. 17.

Man crashes car into building

A man was charged with driving under suspension after he crashed the car he was driving into a building in the 13300 block of Madison Avenue at around 3 a.m. Aug. 17. Only minor damage to the building was reported.

Gasoline siphoned

A woman in the 16800 block of Madison Avenue reported that someone siphoned gas from her vehicle at around 10:45 a.m. Aug. 17.

Indecent exposure

A woman told police that a young girl at the park told her that a man exposed himself to her at around 8 p.m. Aug. 17. Police officers responded, but neither the victim nor the suspect was found.

Missing dog

A dog was reported missing from a home in the 13400 block of Merl Aveune at around 11:30 p.m. Aug. 18. The dog, a tan lab/mastiff mix, answers to the name Ruxtin.

Passed out in the bushes

A drunken woman was charged with public intoxication after she was found “passed out” in the bushes near the at around 1:20 p.m. Aug. 19.

Bucket full of “weird items”

A bucket full of “weird items” was reported on the boardwalk at at around 8:45 a.m. Aug. 19. Police tossed the bucket — filled with broken children’s toys — into the garbage.
