Woman Robbed at Knifepoint

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lakewood Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Robbery

A woman reported to that she was robbed at knifepoint by a man in the 11800 block of Clifton Boulevard at around 1:30 a.m. July 23. The woman was robbed of her purse and cell phone, but was not injured in the robbery.

A resident in the 1300 block of Brockley Avenue reported that raccoons were rummaging through the garbage at around 5 p.m. July 16. 

Caught smoking pot

Two men were charged with drug abuse after officers caught them smoking marijuana near at around 9:20 p.m. July 16.

Man arrested after running from police

A man who ran from police after a traffic stop near the intersection of Fry and Detroit avenues at around 11 p.m. July 17 was arrested and charged with obstruction of official business. Police caught up with the man — who was wanted on a warrant — on Hird Avenue.

Disorderly conduct

A drunken woman was charged with disorderly conduct near the at around 3 a.m. She was released to a sober friend.

Ex-husband tries to take money from ex-wife

A woman in the 2200 block of Bunts Road told police that her ex-husband tried to take money from her bank account on July 18.

Football player’s bikes stolen

A football player reported that his bike was stolen during football practice on July 18.
