Woman Passed Out, Drunk Behind the Wheel

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lakewood Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Drunken driving

Police responded to a report of a woman passed out — and not breathing — in her vehicle in the 2300 block of Woodward Avenue at around midnight Dec. 12.  Turns out, that the woman was breathing, but she was drunk. She was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, and her vehicle was towed.

A man in the 1300 block of Cove Avenue told police that his tires were slashed sometime during the night on Dec. 12. He told police that he believes that a former tenant was responsible.

Theft, carrying concealed weapon

A man believed to have stolen items from a home in the 1200 block of Sloane Avenue on Dec. 12 may also face an additional charge. When police caught up with him in the 12200 block of Clifton Boulevard at around 2 p.m. Dec. 12, they also found he was carrying a concealed weapon.

Host of charges following traffic stop

A woman was charged with driving under suspension, providing false information and possession of a stun-gun, following a traffic stop on Interstate 90 near the Warren Road exit at around 2:45 a.m. Dec. 11.

Bike stolen

A resident in the 15400 block of Lake Avenue reported that a bicycle had been stolen from the garage at around noon Dec. 11.

Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle

A man was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle after his ex-girlfriend reported that he refused to return the vehicle and was possibly selling off parts of it on Dec. 11.

Criminal damaging

A woman in the 18800 block of Detroit Avenue told police that someone tried to throw a brick through her basement apartment window at around 8:40 p.m. Dec. 11.
