Woman Chases Down Burglary Suspect

Woman chases after burglar

A man was charged with burglary after a woman chased him down after she found him her apartment in the 1400 block of Waterbury Avenue at around 12:30 p.m. April 10. She stopped chasing him after a few minutes when he said he had a gun. But a resident in the 1400 block of Wyandotte Avenue saw him jump a fence. When officers caught up with him, they didn’t find a gun, but they charged him with burglary.

No clean getaway for soap thief

A man stole a basketful of body soap from the on Clifton Boulevard at around 2 a.m. April 11. He left the store and fled south on W. 117th in his vehicle. Officers caught up with him moments later and charged him with petty theft.

Throwing rocks at cars

Three boys were spotted throwing rocks at passing cars near the intersection of St. Charles Avenue and Franklin Boulevard at around 7 a.m. April 9. Police were unable to catch up with the boys.
