Woman Caught Going to Door-to-Door Begging for Beer

Door-to-Door Beer Beggar Reported: Police received a report of a woman wearing only a black robe going door-to-door asking residents to sell her beer in the 1200 block of Fry Avenue at around 9:45 p.m. June 12. She told police she was asking neighbors because she was unable to go to the store.

Taking charge: A man placed two pylons in the middle of the street in the 18100 block of Clifton Road in an effort to slow down speeders at around 2:30 p.m. June 15. Police told the man he’s not allowed to do that.

Wrestling on the sidewalk: Police received a report of three men “wrestling on the sidewalk” in the 14400 block of Delaware Avenue at around 1 a.m. June 17. Officers responded but couldn’t find them.

Parking lot argument turns physical: Two men were arguing in the parking lot of the CVS on Clifton Boulevard at around 3:30 a.m. June 17. One of them grabbed a baseball bat, and someone called police. Turns out, the man had a warrant out for his arrest and was taken into custody.

BB gun damage: A half-dozen shots from a BB gun were fired at a vacant house in the 1200 block of Clifton Prado on June 17.

Theft: A man was charged with theft after shoplifting from the Drug Mart at 13123 Detroit Avenue at around 11 p.m. June 18. He was also charged with criminal trespassing and possession of drug paraphernalia.
