A couple of minutes later, police received a report of a woman walking on nearby Parkwood Avenue, knocking on doors and asking residents for a ride.

Andrews fit the description of the suspected robber, and officers found a large amount of cash in her possession.

“She obviously didn’t have an escape plan,” said Hassing.

During her arrest, officers found a suspected crack pipe, but no weapons. Andrews was taken to Lakewood City Jail.

She is scheduled to appear in court to face charges including first-degree felony aggravated robbery, and possession of drug paraphernalia, a third-degree misdemeanor.
