Woman Arrested for 'Huffing,' Shoplifting

"Huffing," theft charges

A woman was charged with theft and abusing harmful intoxicants after she was caught in the bathroom inhaling “duster” — an aerosol can of cleaner — that she didn’t pay for, at around 6:30 p.m. May 20.

Police responded to an incident near the at around 1 a.m. May 18. One of the men was charged with disorderly conduct.

Assault

A man was charged with assault after he struck his girlfriend in the 12000 block of Athens Avenue at around 7 a.m. Officers caught up with the man a few blocks away.

Throwing food

A resident told police that — for the second time — someone threw food at the door of his apartment in the 11900 block of Edgewater Drive on May 19. 

Where there’s marijuana smoke…

A man was charged with dangerous drugs after smoking marijuana in an apartment in the 1000 block of Cove Avenue.
