'Unwelcome Guest' Asked to Leave

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lakewood Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Unwelcome guest

A man in the 2100 block of Dowd Avenue told police there was an “unwelcome” man in his house at around 2:30 a.m. March 15. Turns out, the guest was his daughter’s boyfriend. Police told the couple to “find another place to spend time together." 

Stolen silver dollar

On March 10, man told police that someone broke into his apartment, in the 12400 block of Detroit Avenue, and stole his silver dollar.

Student threatens teacher

A student at threatened to stab a teacher at around 9:30 a.m. March 12.

Drug charges

Two men were charged with felony possession of drugs following a traffic stop in the 14800 block of Leonard Avenue at around 10:30 p.m. March 13. 

Using drugs in the bathroom         

A man was caught using drugs in the bathroom at a bar in the 13000 block of Detroit Avenue at around 1 a.m. The man took off down the street, but left his syringes behind. 

Graffiti

A building in the 12000 block of Detroit Avenue was reported vandalized at around 4:40 p.m. March 15.
