Unoccupied Truck Strikes Building on Detroit Avenue

Truck crashes into building

A woman in the 1300 block of Cove Avenue reported that an unoccupied truck roll over the curb and strike the at around 9:30 a.m. June 11. Turns out, the truck rolled out of a nearby driveway, across the street and into the building. No damage to the building was reported. The truck was pushed back into the driveway. 

Burglary

The resident of a home in the 12500 block of Clifton Boulevard reported that the home had been broken into at around 9:15 p.m. June 7. 

Brotherly love? Nope

A man was charged with domestic violence and public drunkenness after he punched his sister in the face in the 2000 block of Chesterland Avenue before taking off down the street at around 2:45 a.m. June 8. Officers caught up with him just a few houses away and arrested him. 

Sick and “tires” of the neighbors

A man in the 12700 block of Plover Avenue told police that his neighbors threw tires in his front lawn at around 12:45 p.m. June 8. The neighbors told officers that they would pick up the tires.

Stealing from grandma

A woman in the 12500 block of Edgewater Drive told police that her grandson stole from her at 5:30 p.m. June 10.
