Two Men Arrested Following Carjacking, Robbery at Gunpoint

Carjacking, Robbery at Gunpoint: Two men were arrested and charged with aggravated robbery after they robbed a man at gunpoint in the 12000 block of Edgewater Drive at around 11:15 p.m. July 6. They stole the man’s wallet and keys, before also stealing his car and driving away in it, according to the report. Police caught up with the two men after a brief pursuit into Cleveland. They were each charged with aggravated robbery.

Taxi Driver Robbed: A taxi driver was robbed by two men in the 18000 block of Edgewater Drive at around 2 a.m. July 6. The two men, along with a woman, are believed to have ran into a nearby apartment. Police are investigating.

Breaking and entering: Copper pipes were reported stolen from a vacant home in the 1300 block of Jackson Avenue on July 5.

Pit bull? Nope. Police received a report of a pit bull in the 1600 block of Northland Avenue at around 2:30 p.m. July 7. Turns out, the dog was a boxer/mastiff mix.

Stolen gun: A resident in the 1300 block of Brockley Avenue told police that a gun was stolen from an upstairs closet on July 7.

Boy hit by car: A boy riding his bike was struck by a car in the 14100 block of Franklin Boulevard at around 4:15 p.m. July 8. He was taken to Fairview Hospital with unreported injuries.
