Three Trying to Set the High School on Fire Escape Capture

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lakewood Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Arson

Police received a call that three males were trying to set on fire at around 3 a.m. Aug. 1. The males were spotted at the rear of the school, near the entrance to the pool, however the caller didn’t have a description of the males. And when officers arrived, the trio of would-be arsonists were gone.

A woman was charged with disorderly conduct after she was dancing in the middle of Detroit Avenue at around 2 a.m. July 31.

Gun stolen

A man in the 1400 block of Coutant Avenue told police that his gun was stolen July 31. 

Items tossed from hi-rise

A woman was charged with disorderly conduct after she threw a chair, plant and other items from the out of the window of the at around 1 a.m. Aug. 1.
