Several Reports of Gunshots Around Lakewood

Gunshots in Lakewood: A resident in the 2100 block of Arthur Avenue reported hearing 10 gunshots at around 2:15 a.m. May 4. Officers were unable to locate the source. Officers received a similar report two hours later in the 1200 block of Ethel Avenue. Several hours later, at around 11:45 p.m., someone reported a half-dozen gunshots fired in the 11700 block of Clifton Boulevard.

TV stolen: A resident in the 14600 block of Lake Avenue reported a TV stolen from the home at around 11 a.m. May 5.

Grand theft: A car was reported stolen from the parking lot of the Pier W restaurant at around 2 p.m. May 5.

Egg launching: Police received a report of “someone launching eggs into the street” in the 11900 block of Detroit Avenue at around 11 p.m. May 4.

Grand theft: A woman reported her car stolen from a parking lot in the 12500 block of Edgewater Drive at around 10:30 p.m. May 6.

Charges for trespasser: A man who was banned from the CVS Pharmacy on Clifton Boulevard was charged with trespassing and possession of drug paraphernalia on May 7.

Copper pipes stolen: Two windows were reported broken and copper pipes missing from the Lakewood Catholic Academy at 14808 Lake Avenue at around 8:30 a.m. May 7.
