Several Gunshots Reported at Madison Avenue Salon

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lakewood Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Shots fired

Police received several calls of between six and eight gunshots in the 13300 block of Madison Avenue at around 10:30 a.m. Oct. 28. Two men were seen running from the Hair Bomb salon. Spent bullet casings were found in the area. No one was injured in the shooting, according to the report. Police are investigating.

Identity theft

A resident in the Fedor Manor Apartments told police that someone made two “unauthorized” withdrawals from her bank account — for a total of more than $800 — on Oct. 25. 

Bow and arrow in Lakewood?

Police received a report of a man shooting an arrow in the backyard of a home in the 17000 block of Riverside Drive at around 9 a.m. Oct. 26, however officers couldn’t locate anyone matching the description.

Stolen golf clubs

A set of golf clubs was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 1500 block of Lakewood Avenue at around 2 p.m. Oct. 26.

Fill ‘er up

A man was seen urinating on the side of the BP Express gas station on Madison Avenue at around 3:30 p.m. Oct. 26. 


A home in the 2000 block of Lewis Drive was reported broken into at around 5 p.m. Oct. 26.

Garage sale theft

A ring and other items were reported stolen from a garage sale in the 1600 block of Belle Avenue at around 7:30 p.m. Oct. 27.
