Potted Plant Stolen from Mars And Other Lakewood Police News

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lakewood Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Theft

A resident of the 1500 block of Mars Avenue told police a potted plant on the walkway leading up to her porch was stolen the morning of June 17.

A resident of the 1300 block of Lakewood reported that after having a guest stay overnight the night of June 16, several gaming systems and games were missing when he woke up.

A red and white bicycle was stolen from a backyard on the 1400 block of Olivewood Avenue the morning of June 20. 

 

Hit-skip

A bicyclist was struck by a hit-skip driver on the 14000 block of Lakewood Heights Boulevard at about 2:30 p.m. June 19. The bicyclist was unhurt. The car was described as a silver Audi with damage to the right front fender and light. The driver is described as a white male with blond hair in his 30s. 

 

A hit-skip accident was reported on Hird Avenue near Detroit Avenue at about 7 p.m. June 20. The complainant told police the other driver appeared to be intoxicated. 

 

Breaking and Entering

A resident of the 1500 block of Hopkins Avenue told police somebody broke into her garage the night of June 16. Nothing appeared to be missing, she told police. 

 

Rolling boulder while intoxicated

A man who appeared to be intoxicated reportedly was rolling and attempting to pick up a boulder he took from someone's yard. He was stopped by police at about 11:45 p.m. June 17 on the 14000 block of Clifton Boulevard. He denied he was trying to move any boulders and said he was "out enjoying the air." He returned to his apartment without a boulder.   

 

Driving under Suspension

A woman was arrested on charges driving with a suspended license on the 15000 block of Hilliard Road at about 4:30 p.m. June 17.

 

Burglary

A resident of the 1300 block of Bonneeview Avenue reported her iPad had been taken while she was out exercising about 11 a.m. June 19. The doors were unlocked.
