Police Blotter: Woman Robbed at Knifepoint
The following arrest information was supplied by the Lakewood Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Robbery
An employee at a bar in the 12300 block of Madison Avenue was robbed at knifepoint by a man at around 8 a.m. Aug. 5. The man told the victim to lie down on the ground while he emptied the cash register.

A man was cited with disorderly conduct after he refused to leave the bar at around 3 a.m. Aug. 4.
Lakewood resident ‘scammed’

A man in the 1300 block of Beach Avenue told police Aug. 4 that he believes he was “scammed” after he sent money to India.
BB shot through the window
Two teenaged boys were arrested and charged with criminal damaging after they shot a BB through the window of a Detroit Avenue business at around 3:30 p.m. Aug. 5. Two of the three accused in the incident were charged — the third boy got away. The bb gun was found around the corner in the 1300 block of Lakeland Avenue.
Disorderly conduct
A man was lying down in the bushes in the 1300 block of Giel Avenue at around 10 p.m. Aug. 5. He was cited for disorderly conduct.
Resisting arrest
A 20-year-old man was arrested and charged with resisting arrest after his mother called police on him for causing a disturbance in the 2100 block of Wascana Avenue at around 10 p.m. Aug. 6.
