Police Blotter: Robbery; Prostitution; and 44 Tires Stolen

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lakewood Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Prostitution

Police received a call about woman in a red dress offering sexual services for money in the 11700 block of Detroit Avenue at around 6 p.m. Sept. 10. Police were unable to find the woman.

Burglary

A woman in the 1300 block of Lakewood Avenue told police Sept. 11 that she went away for the weekend and returned home to find that her home had been broken into and her TV had been stolen.

Robbery

A woman was robbed by two men each wearing hoodies in the 13000 block of Detroit Avenue at around 12:30 a.m. Sept. 14. One of the men fled east on Detroit Avenue, while the other took off south on Grace Avenue.

Burning rubber

Forty-four tires were reported stolen from the store at around 4 p.m. Sept. 14.

Boy hit by a car

A 13-year-old boy injured his leg after he was hit by a car in the 15000 block of Madison Avenue at around 4 p.m. Sept. 9.

Obstructing official business 

A man was charged with obstructing official business after he fled on foot following a traffic stop in the 1600 block of Winchester Avenue at around 5 p.m. Sept. 9. Officers caught up with him right away. Turns out he also had a warrant out for his arrest.

Drunken driving

A man was arrested and charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol following a traffic stop in the 2000 block of Lincoln Avenue at around 4 a.m. Sept. 10.
