Police Blotter: Robbery at Gunpoint; Knife at School; and Public Urination

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lakewood Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Robbery at gunpoint

Two men with hooded sweatshirts robbed a man at gunpoint while he was walking home in the 13200 block of Detroit Avenue at around 12:30 a.m. Nov. 9. Police searched the area but were unable to catch the two suspects, who got away with the victim's wallet and money.

A car was reported stolen in the 12500 block of Clifton Boulevard at around 1 a.m. Nov. 9.

Knife at school

A student at was charged with a weapons offense after he brought an illegal knife to school on Nov. 9.

Stolen grills

A woman told that two grills were stolen from the backyard of her Winchester Avenue home at around 5 p.m. Nov. 6. 

That’s not gas in the gas tank

Police responded to the for a report of a man who urinated in the gas tank of another man at around 11:15 p.m. Nov. 6. The suspect apologized and they exchanged information in case there was any damage to the vehicle.

Anyone for tennis?

Animal control officers responded along with police to where a deer was reported running around on the tennis court at around 10:15 a.m. Nov. 7.
