Police Blotter: Man Robbed of His Medication

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lakewood Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Robbed over medication

A man in the 1500 block of Wyandotte Avenue told police that he was robbed of his medication then struck by a vehicle driven by a man he knew on Jan. 2. He didn't report any serious injuries. The report didn't specify what medicine was taken during the robbery.

Burglary

A woman returned to her home in the 14000 block of Madison Avenue to find that her door was kicked in and her computer stolen Jan. 2.

Gun stolen

A man in the 1600 block of Lakewood Avenue told that a gun was stolen from his home at around 1 p.m. Dec. 31.

Resisting arrest

A man was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and resisting arrest following a traffic stop in the 12000 block of Clifton Boulevard at around 2:40 a.m. Jan. 4.

Crash 

A man was taken to with unknown injuries after he drove through a red light and struck a utility pole in the 1300 block of Sloane Avenue at around 2 p.m. Jan. 4. Police believe the man may have suffered a seizure during the crash.

Drunken driving crash

A man faces a number of charges after he struck a utility pole while drunk, then fled the scene in the 14000 block of Lakewood Heights Boulevard at 9 p.m. Jan. 5. An off-duty officer saw the man flee the scene and caught up to him. The man was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, hit-skip and failure to control.

Sleep it off

A man was charged with disorderly conduct after he passed out at the Church Bar on Madison Avenue at around midnight Jan. 5. The man was cited and released to his mother.
