Police Blotter: Fight in the Street Nets Arrest

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lakewood Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

It's a street fight

Police received a call about three men fighting in the street in the 1500 block of Wagar Avenue at around 3:30 a.m. Dec. 15. One of the men was overheard saying he was going to get his gun. After the men went their separate ways, officers were able to catch one of the men. He was arrested on a warrant.

Burglary

A resident in the 1300 block of Warren Road told police that the home had been “ransacked,” at around 3 p.m. Dec. 11. 

Huffing spray paint

A man was arrested and charged with dangerous drugs after huffing spray paint in the parking lot of on Madison Avenue at around 11 p.m. Dec. 11. He was taken to , where he was treated and released.

Dine and dash at Dianna’s Deli

Three men skipped out on their bill at at around 2 a.m. Dec. 13. The men took off on foot, and officers were unable to catch them. 

Stolen TV

A man told police that someone broke into his Orchard Grove home and stole his 32-inch flat-screen TV, while he was upstairs watching TV at around 4 p.m. Dec. 13.

Student steals TV

A student at made off with a 50-inch flat-screen TV at around 2:45 p.m. Dec. 15.

Drug abuse

A man was charged with drug abuse following a traffic stop at the on W. 117th Street in Cleveland.

Going after the repo man

A woman was arrested and charged with resisting arrest after a repo man came to take away her vehicle in the 1400 block of Hopkins Avenue — and the woman tried to hit him with it at around 9 p.m. Dec. 15.
