Police Blotter: Drug Charges; Grand Theft Auto; and BB Guns Stolen

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lakewood Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Drug charges

A woman in the 2100 block of Glenbury Avenue told police that six men were punching her brother and yelling at him about drugs and money at around 3:30 p.m. Aug. 24. When officers showed up, they arrested and charged a man and a woman each with felony drug possession, drug abuse and possession of criminal tools.

BB gun theft

A woman in the 1200 block of Idlewood Avenue told police that someone stole five BB guns from her home on Aug. 20.

Drunken driving

After a report of a reckless driver on Interstate 90 at around 9 p.m. Aug. 20, police arrested and charged a man with operating a vehicle under the influence.

Disorderly conduct, criminal damaging

A man was charged with disorderly conduct and criminal damaging after he punched out a window at Iggy’s bar on Madison Avenue. He was released to a sober adult and sent home.

Dangerous drugs

A man was charged with dangerous drugs following a traffic stop in the 12500 block of Edgewater Drive at around 10:30 a.m. Aug. 21.

Chip off the old ... bank?

A man in the 14800 block of Clifton Boulevard told police that his father took $17 from their joint bank account without his permission on Aug. 23. Police told the man to remove his father from his account.

Grand theft auto

A car was reported stolen from a home in the 1300 block of Jackson Avenue at 5:40 a.m. Aug. 24.

Dog bite

A dog bite was reported in the 1500 block of Elmwood Avenue at around 9:30 a.m. Aug. 24.
