Police Blotter: Burglary Caught in the Act

Burglary caught in the act

An employee of a business in the 15000 block of Madison Avenue told police that he walked in on three men in ski masks tampering with the safe, at around 3:30 a.m. Dec. 11. The men, who ran out the back door, got away with an unreported amount of cash.

A resident in the 1400 block of Hopkins Avenue reported that the refrigerator in the home was missing at around 9 a.m. Dec. 9.

Overnight deposit stolen

The money from the overnight deposit at the was reported stolen at around 12:50 p.m. Dec. 9.

Nasty fall

Lakewood police officers assisted emergency medical crews after a report that a 63-year-old woman fell at her home in the 1400 block of Wayne Avenue. When she landed, her glasses punctured her skull. She was taken to with unreported injuries.

Assault

An assault was reported at at around 1:20 Dec. 13.
