Police Blotter: Burglaries; Grand Thefts; and a Dog on the Loose

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lakewood Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Grand thefts

A parked vehicle was reported stolen from the street in the 1500 block of Winchester Avenue at around 11 a.m. Nov. 20. Another vehicle was reported stolen later that day, at 5:30 p.m., from the 13700 block of Madison Avenue.

Burglary

A woman in the 2100 block of Brown Avenue told police that someone broke into her home at around 2:30 p.m. Nov. 17. She reported that a shoulder bag containing her laptop computer was stolen.

Another burglary

A home in the 1200 block of Gladys Avenue was reported burglarized at around 4 p.m. Nov. 18.

Shoplifting

A man was arrested and charged with shoplifting and disorderly conduct at the at around 10:45 p.m. Nov. 19.

Dog on the loose

received a call of a large dog near who was “running around chasing people” at around 6:30 p.m. Nov. 18. Officers were unable to locate the dog.
