Police Blotter: Burglaries; Grand Theft Auto; and Receiving Stolen Property
The following arrest information was supplied by the Lakewood Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Receiving stolen property
Police received a call that a man was trying to use a fake prescription at the on Detroit Avenue at around 12:30 a.m. Oct. 27. When officers showed up, they charged two men with illegal processing and receiving stolen property.
Burglary

A resident in the 1600 block of Newman Avenue told police that man broke into the backdoor of the home at around 2:40 a.m. Oct. 27. Police were unable to locate the man.
Another burglary

A resident in the 1500 block of Lauderdale Avenue told that someone broke into her home and stole several items at around 7:30 p.m. Oct. 27.
Grand theft auto
A car was reported stolen from the parking lot of condominiums at 129000 Lake Avenue at around 4:45 a.m. Oct. 27.
