‘Passed Out,’ Drunk Behind the Wheel

Drunken driving
A man was charged with drunken driving after he was found “passed out behind the wheel” in the 16000 block of Madison Avenue at around 2:30 a.m. Jan. 6.

Police received a report of a man carrying “a large gun” in the 15200 block of Hilliard Road at around 1:30 p.m. Jan. 5. Turns out it was a juvenile. He was charged with illegally carrying a concealed weapon and drug paraphernalia.
Falling pumpkin

A resident of the Carlyle reported that someone threw a pumpkin off one of the balconies at around 11:15 p.m. Jan 5.
Domestic violence
A man and a woman were both arrested after fighting with each other in an apartment in the 1500 block of Newman Avenue at around 1:20 a.m. Jan. 8.
Going through the trash
Police received a report of a man rummaging through the recycling in the 1400 block of Lauderdale Avenue at around 3 a.m. Jan. 8. Officers were unable to locate the man.
Grand theft
A vehicle was reported stolen from the Enterprise rental car agency in the 2200 block of Warren Road at around 8 a.m. Jan. 8.
