CUYAHOGA FALLS PATCH:

Molotov Cocktail in the Yard, Defecation on the Car

On June 28, a known suspect allegedly detonated a Molotov cocktail in a resident's front yard in the 2800 block of Revere Road.The suspect also reportedly "defecated" on the resident's car and fled, according to a police report. 

The Cuyahoga Falls Detective's Bureau is investigating the incident.

Pool Noodle Fight Leads to Arrest

Punches accompanied partying in a pool this week, leading to an arrest.

Mentor Police arrested 23-year-old Joshua R. Anderson Monday for assault after punching another person in a pool at 4787 Corduroy Road.

According to police, Anderson was one of several people at the pool participating in what was first a friendly "noodle fight." At some point, the mood changed and Anderson became involved in a fight, punching a victim in the face.

Police believe alcohol played a role in the fight.

MAYFIELD-HILLCREST PATCH:

Patriotic with No Pants

A man was seen sleeping on a bench in the waiting area of Hillcrest Hospital just hours before the Fourth of July. The only problem with this was that he was wearing no pants to go with his red, white and blue shirt, according to a Mayfield Heights Police call log.

A hospital patrolman asked the man to leave the hospital. Mayfield Heights Police arrived about 20 minutes later to check on the man's welfare. The man was found in the restroom and highly intoxicated. Hillcrest agreed to admit him because of his condition.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS PATCH: 

Woman Arrested Trying To Steal 91 Items From Walmart

A Cleveland Heights woman faces theft charges after she tried to walk out of Walmart at Severance Town Center with 91 unpaid items, according to Cleveland Heights Police.

The woman, 35, was caught before she could walk out of the store after noon on July 5. The woman had loaded 91 unpaid items worth $934 into a plastic tub, according to the police report. 

The woman was then escorted to the manager's office and the police were called.

She was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and also had active arrest warrants issued by Strongsville and Middleburg Heights.
