Men Caught Stealing Tire From Parked Car

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lakewood Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Felonious theft

Two men were charged with felonious theft after they were caught stealing a tire from a parked car in the 2100 block of Mars Avenue at around 11:45 p.m. Nov. 4.


A man and a woman were each charged with burglary following an incident in the 12500 block of Plover Street at around 3 a.m. Nov. 1. 

Coins stolen

A resident in the 13200 block of Hazelwood Avenue reported coins stolen from the home at around 9 a.m. Nov. 1.

Lewd comments

A man told police that his neighbors in the 1400 block of Ridgewood made “lewd comments” to his three children at around 4:15 p.m. Nov. 2.

Bus window smashed

The window of a bus parked at St. Edward High School was smashed earlier in the morning of Nov. 3.

Large fight reported

About eight people were reported fighting at the West End Tavern at around 1:15 a.m. Nov. 3, but when officers arrived those involved had already left.

Stolen alcohol

A man stole a $3 bottle of vodka from the BP gas station on Madison Avenue before getting away on foot at around 4 a.m. Nov. 3.

Boat engine stolen

The engine from a boat was reported stolen from the Emerald Necklace Marina at around 4 p.m. Nov. 3.
