Two Men Arrested for Attempted Pickpocketing

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lakewood Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Pickpockets arrested

Two men were arrested after trying to pick the pocket of a man as he walked on Franklin Boulevard at around 4 p.m. June 1. One of the men tried to run from police — he was also charged with obstructing official business and providing false information.

Police responded to a report of a fight near the railroad tracks at around 12:20 a.m. May 31. Police cited a man for disorderly conduct at a residence in the 11800 block of Clifton Boulevard.

Burglary

A resident in the 2100 block of Arthur Avenue came home at around midnight June 1 to find that her home had been broken into. 

Bar brawl

Two men were charged with disorderly conduct after a bar brawl broke out at at around 1 a.m. June 2.

Dogs injured after fighting

Two dogs were taken to area animal hospitals after they fought in the 1300 block of Webb Avenue at around 6 p.m. June 3.
