Man Tells Police That He Wants Jail Time

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lakewood Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Do not pass ‘go’

Police stopped a man in the 18200 block of Detroit Avenue at around 1:30 p.m. March 6. He refused to identify himself and told police that he wanted to go to jail. Instead, police obtained his identity and released him with a citation.

Police responded to a home in the 2100 block of McKinley Avenue to a report of a man yelling at around 3:35 a.m. March 5. Turns out, he was just singing. Police advised him of the complaint.

Shoplifting

A woman was charged with shoplifting from the Walgreens at around 1:15 p.m. March 5.

Throwing chairs at a house

A man was charged with criminal trespassing and disorderly conduct after he was caught throwing chairs at a home in the 2200 block of Lincoln Avenue at around 2:45 a.m. March 6. 

You’ll shoot your eye out

A boy was charged with a weapons offense after he shot another boy in the arm with a BB gun in the 1400 block of Wagar Avenue at around 3 p.m. March 7.
