Man shot: A man was taken to Lakewood Hospital after he reportedly shot himself in the hand with a .40-caliber gun in the 13400 block of Harlon Avenue at around 7 p.m. May 24.
Disorderly conduct: A man was charged with disorderly conduct after he was found “passed out” in the 15600 block of Madison Avenue at around 3 a.m. May 23.
Dangerous drugs: A man was charged with dangerous drugs and carrying a concealed weapon following a traffic stop in the 11800 block of Madison Avenue at around 12:30 a.m. May 23.
Stealing beer: A man was charged with theft after he stole a case of beer from the Walgreens on Detroit Avenue at around 1:20 p.m. May 23. Officers told the man he’d be arrested if returned to the store.
Student brings knife to school: A student at Emerson Middle School brought a knife to school on May 23.
Drug abuse: Two men were charged with felony drug abuse in the 15100 block of Clifton Boulevard at around 4:15 p.m. May 24.
Grand theft: A man reported his vehicle stolen from the Drug Mart at 11900 Detroit Avenue at around 11:45 p.m. May 24.
Breaking and entering: Copper piping was reported stolen from a home in the 2100 block of Alger Road at around 8 p.m. May 26.
