Man Robbed on Detroit Avenue

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lakewood Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Robbery

A man told police that he was robbed of his wallet in front of the on Detroit Avenue at around 12:15 a.m. March 19. The robber took off on foot north on Marlowe Avenue. 

Man steals ribs, arrested

A man was arrested and charged with theft after he stole six slabs of ribs from Aldi’s in the 1600 block of W. 117th Street at around 3:30 p.m. March 16.

A man fell asleep in the laundry room of his apartment building in the 12000 block of Lake Avenue while his apartment was being exterminated for bedbugs on March 16. Upon arrival, officers learned he was a resident of the building.

Traffic stop turns into drug arrest

A man was charged with drug trafficking following a traffic stop at the on Detroit Avenue at around 10:15 p.m. March 16. His car was towed. 

Case of road rage

In a fit of road rage, a motorist threw a brick threw the windshield of another vehicle in the 1600 block of W. 117th Street at around 10 p.m. March 17.

Don’t bring an axe to a fistfight

A man told police that he another man were fighting, when the other man brandished an axe at an apartment in the 12200 block of Clifton Boulevard at around 4 p.m. March 18. The axe wielder was charged with assault.
