Man Robbed of His Computer on Detroit Avenue

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lakewood Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Robbery

A man told police that another man pushed him down and took his computer when he was walking down Detroit Avenue — near Walgreens — at around 3 p.m. Nov. 15. Police are investigating.

Fraud

A woman in the 1300 block of Beach Avenue told police that someone tried to use her debit card to buy a camera online on Nov. 13.

Shoplifting

A man was charged with petty theft after he was caught shoplifting from the CVS Pharmacy on Clifton Boulevard at around 9:40 p.m. Nov. 13.

Rescue squad

A 40-year-old woman in the 1300 block of Clarence Avenue was taken to the Fairview Park Hospital emergency room for a puncture wound to her abdomen at around 7 a.m. Nov. 14. It’s not clear how the woman obtained her injuries.

Cell phone stolen

Two men took a woman’s cell phone from her in the 1600 block of Woodward Avenue at around 12:45 p.m. Nov. 15. The two men ran north toward Detroit Avenue, but officers could not find the men.

Fight leads to drug charge

Police responded to a report of a fight in the 12700 block of Plover Street at around 2:45 p.m. Nov. 15. When officers arrived, they arrested one man who had a warrant out for his arrest and on drug charges.

Domestic violence

A man was charged with domestic violence after he assaulted his girlfriend, threw her phone in water then took her car in the 1600 block of Lakewood Avenue at around 7 p.m. Nov. 15.
