Man Gets Booted from Lakewood Bar
The following arrest information was supplied by the Lakewood Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Disturbance
A man was asked to leave the Merry Arts Pub and Grille — and not to return — at around 4:30 p.m. Jan. 16, because the last time he visited the bar he said he was drunk and said he had a gun. Police talked to him about the situation.
Brick thrown through window

A resident in the 2000 block of Brown Road told police that someone threw a brick through the window of the home at around 9 a.m. Jan. 15.
Suspicious metal detector

Police received a call about a man using a metal detector in the front yard of a home in the 1200 block of Manor Park Avenue at around 2 p.m. Jan. 15. The man had permission from the homeowner to be there.
Drug abuse
A man was charged with drug abuse following a traffic stop at the intersection of Franklin Boulevard and W. 117th Street at around 11:30 p.m. Jan. 15.
Drunken driving
A man was charged with drunken driving following a traffic stop in the 1500 block of Lakeland Avenue at around 3 a.m. Jan. 16.
Bicycle stolen
A bike was reported stolen from the sidewalk in front of Corky’s Place at around 4:10 p.m. Jan. 16.
