Man Crawls in the Wrong Home
The following arrest information was supplied by the Lakewood Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Trespassing
A drunken man crawled in the front window of a home in the 1500 block of Newman Avenue at around 6 a.m. July 30. The woman who lived there told police that the man was smoking a cigarette and told her that he paid bills there for a month, so he had a right to be there. She called the police. The man was arrested for trespassing and public intoxication.
Domestic violence

A man was charged with domestic violence and disorderly conduct after he came home and began beating his wife and 9-year-old son at around 11:55 p.m. July 29.
Theft, and other charges

A man who stole a bike from a home on Belle Avenue faces charges after he ran from police at around 1 a.m. July 28. When police caught up with him in front of , he was charged with theft, obstruction of official business and trespassing.
Missing boxer
A woman told police that her dog — a striped boxer — jumped out of the window of the home in the 14200 block of Delaware Avenue at around 10:45 p.m. Aug. 1. The dog was reported missing.
Copper pipes stolen
Copper pipes were reported ripped from a home in the 2200 block of Carabel Avenue at around 2 p.m. July 28.
Shoplifting
A man was charged with shoplifting after he was caught stealing from the at around 7:45 p.m. July 28. He was also charged with drug abuse.
