Man Charged With Felonious Assault After Stabbing His Wife

Man stabs his wife: A man was arrested and charged with felonious assault and disorderly conduct after he stabbed his wife at their home in the 1300 block of Andrews Avenue at around 8:30 p.m. June 28. Witnesses told Lakewood Patch that there were at least a dozen officers who responded. The extent of the woman’s injuries weren’t reported, but believed to be non-life-threatening.

Drunken driving: A woman was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated after she struck a parked car in the 1500 block of Warren Road at around 11:30 p.m. June 30.

Shoplifting: A man was charged with petty theft and possession of criminal tools after shoplifting from the Walgreens on Detroit Avenue at around 2:30 a.m. July 1.

Grand theft: A vehicle was reported stolen from the driveway of a home in the 1300 block of Winchester Avenue at around 6 a.m. July 1.

Disorderly conduct: A man was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and drug abuse after refusing to leave a bar in the 11900 block of Madison Avenue at around 2:45 a.m. July 3.

Fence stolen: A resident in the 13400 block of Lake Avenue told police that a portion of his fence was stolen on July 3.

Burglary: Two bikes were stolen from an unlocked garage in the 1500 block of Cohassett Avenue on July 4.
