Man Arrested After ‘Shooting Up’ at Gas Station

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lakewood Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Getting high, or getting gas?

A man was charged with drug abuse after someone spotted him “injecting something” into his arm with a hypodermic needle in the parking lot at the Speedway on Warren Road at around 8:30 p.m. April 9. Police caught up with him minutes later. He also had a warrant out for his arrest out of the Brunswick Police Department.

Burglary

The residents of a home in the 2100 block of Glenbury Avenue told police that several items were stolen from the home at around 4 p.m. April 9. “It looks like the door may have not been shut all the way,” according to the report.

Copper pipes stolen

Copper piping was reported stolen from a home in the 16300 block of Clifton Boulevard at around 2:15 p.m. April 10.

Domestic disturbance

A man in the 1300 block of Beach Parkway told police that his girlfriend lit a piece of paper on fire and slid it under the door at around 11:50 p.m. April 10. Then, she began banging on the door with a hammer.
