Lakewood Store Robbed at Knifepoint

Robbery at knifepoint

A man robbed the 7-Eleven on Hilliard Road at knifepoint at around 4:15 a.m. April 11. The man — wearing a surgical mask and a gray sweatshirt — ran off with the cash register, carrying an undisclosed amount of cash. He was last spotted on Olive Avenue.

Man bails from traffic stop

Following a traffic stop in the 18000 block of Detroit Avenue at around 1:20 a.m. April 8, a man fled on foot. When officers caught up with him minutes later, they charged him with obstructing official business and disorderly conduct.

Knife attack on boyfriend

A man “who dresses as a female” cut her boyfriend in the face at a home in the 12000 block of Clifton Boulevard at around 6:20 p.m. April 8. She was charged with felonious assault.

Theft

A resident in the 1400 block of Newman Avenue reported jewelry missing from the home at around 2:30 a.m. April 9.
