Lakewood Residents Representing Amanda, Gina and Michelle

Three women who escaped from the home of Ariel Castro after ten years of captivity given guidance by Lakewood residents

Two members of the team who has stepped up to offer free representation to Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus and Michelle Knight are Lakewood residents, reports Lakewood blog The Lakewood Citizen.

The three women were freed after over a decade of captivity in the home of Ariel Castro several weeks ago.

Cleveland's WKYC ran a feature on the legal team, which includes Lakewood resident Attorney Henry Hilow of McGinty, Hilow & Spellacy Co. LPA, and the communication firm Hennes Paynter Crisis Communications, which includes Lakewood resident Barb Paynter.

A commenter on the blog added that Jim Wooley of Jones Day is also from Lakewood.
