Society has caused us to become sheep James. No one would've thrown anything at him and doubt he would flinch if a cell phone came his way-he wore body armor and was ready for shoes, keys and whatever was thrown at him. I too am a marksman and would have sent two rounds to his thoratic cavity and if that failed to cease the threat, one to the cranial would've done it. So don't worry James, pistol packin Ralph has your back. That is of course if there isn't a little gun free zone sticker on the window. Then you and your shoes are on your own.

"I too am a marksman and would have sent two rounds to his thoratic cavity and if that failed to cease the threat, one to the cranial would've done it." Oh, what a great video game scenario. How many of your shots would have penetrated any of him after he'd already ripped through your flesh with a barrage of bullets from a semi automatic assault rifle? Or the spray from a shotgun? Your much stated dreams of wild west vigilante justice are just plain scary. Not to mention highly unrealistic. And if everyone in the theatre with you believed themselves to be a marksman and was packing heat, how many extra bullets would have permeated the air and subsequent flesh? Just like the mystery of the tootsie pop, the world may never know...

this coming from someone who post silly comments like this Mary Lou Brunstetter-Reynolds 5:44 pm on Sunday, July 29, 2012 I wish every vehicle was equipped with either an interlock device or something similar to help prevent those with less inhibitions from doing ignorant, life endangering acts.

How about we focus on the fact that he was arrested, and then let out on bail?

"It's not that easy for law abiding citizens to get a gun" Hard to imagine it's that difficult with so many CCW permit holders are roaming the state. Also, have you ever been to a gun show or bought a gun from a private dealer? Not too hard to get a gun.
