Dead Cat? Nope, Just Drunk Woman

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lakewood Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Disturbance

A woman called police at around 2 p.m. Jan. 2, and said that she thought her cat might be dead. She told police she was too drunk to call the animal warden. She called back later and said that her cat was fine.

Fight, drug charges

Police responded to a report of a fight at Bottoms Up at around 1:30 a.m. Jan. 20. A woman was charged with drug paraphernalia.

Disturbance at Melt

A man refused to pay his bill at Melt Bar and Grilled at around 8:30 p.m. Jan. 20. He also refused to leave the restaurant. Police charged him with theft and disorderly conduct. The man was told not to return to the restaurant, or else he’d be charged with trespassing.

Man kicks over cigarette machine

A man who kicked over the cigarette machine at Sam’s Beverage at around 12:15 a.m. Jan. 22 was asked not to return to the store or he’d be arrested for trespassing.

Man ‘passed out behind the wheel’

A man was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated after he was found “passed out behind the wheel” in the 16100 block of Lake Avenue at around 11:15 p.m. Jan. 22.
