Caught Pranking the Pizza Shop

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lakewood Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Pizza pranksters

Nunzio’s Pizzeria reported receiving prank calls Oct. 17 for “large orders” only to find no one answering the door to pay for the food. The calls were traced to a home in the 1300 block of Thoreau Avenue. The pranksters agreed to pay for the food.

A vehicle was reported stolen from the driveway of a home in the 2200 block of Emily Avenue at around noon Oct. 17.

Shoplifting

A woman was charged with theft after she was caught shoplifting at the CVS Pharmacy on Clifton Boulevard at around 6:45 p.m. Oct. 17. Turns out, she also had a warrant out for her arrest.

Vehicle crashes into home

A vehicle crashed through a home in the 1500 block of Waterbury Avenue at around 9:45 p.m. Oct. 18. No injuries were reported, but the driver fled the scene on foot. Police are investigating.
