Wearing panties and nothing else
received a call about a man walking in the 13300 block of Madison Avenue wearing nothing but a pair of red women’s panties at around 3 a.m. July 22. The man told police that he was trying to talk to a friend.

A woman was charged with dangerous drugs and drug abuse following a traffic stop at the intersection of W. 117th Street and Franklin Boulevard at around 5:50 a.m. July 22.

A man was arrested and charged with intoxication and drug abuse after he punched a woman’s car in the 1300 block of Idlewood Avenue at around 9 p.m. July 21.
Carrying a concealed weapon
A man was charged with carrying a concealed weapon and driving under suspension after a traffic stop in the 12400 block Detroit Avenue at around 10:20 p.m. July 22.
A painful punch
A man punched a hole in the wall of a home in the 1440 block of Lincoln Avenue on July 20.
Ex-boyfriend tries to break into woman’s home
A man was charged with burglary after he tried to break into his ex-girlfriend’s home in the 1300 block of Elbur Avenue at around 11:30 p.m. July 22.
Attempted grand theft
Someone tried to steal a van in the 13300 block of Madison Avenue on July 23. The column of the vehicle had been peeled back.
Guns impounded
Police impounded guns from an apartment in the at around 11 a.m. July 24.
