Blotter: Man Threatened With Gun While Driving

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lakewood Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Man threatened with gun while driving

A man told police that another motorist pointed a gun at him while he was driving northbound on W. 117th Street at around 4:30 p.m. Feb. 2. The suspect “sped off” west on Franklin Boulevard. According to the report, the man didn’t want to cooperate with officers about additional details about the incident.

A vehicle was reported stolen from the  at around 11 a.m. Jan. 29.

Traffic stop nets drug charges

A man was charged with felony drug abuse and drug trafficking following a traffic stop in the 17900 block of Detroit Avenue at around 2 a.m. Jan. 30.

Stolen diamond ring

A resident of the told police that her diamond ring had been stolen from her jewelry box at around 6 15 p.m. Jan. 30.

Found marijuana

A bag of marijuana was found in room 236 of the on Clifton Boulevard at around 11 a.m. Feb. 1. The report didn’t disclose how much marijuana was inside the bag.

Unwanted passenger

A woman told police that a man entered her car, after “pretending to play with his keys” at the at around 1:40 p.m. The woman told police she hit the man with her purse until he left the vehicle and took off on foot. Police caught up with the man, who told police that he only opened the door. The woman didn’t want to file charges.

Vandalism

Graffiti was reported on the side of the Lake Erie Screw factory at around 11:30 a.m. Feb. 2.
