Blotter: Man Pulls Gun at Drug Store; Knife Fight; Drug Charges

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lakewood Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Carrying a conceal weapon

A man was arrested and charged with carrying a conceal weapon at  after he pulled a gun on a man after an argument at around 2 p.m. Sept. 2.

Lakewood police officers responded to the  on W. 117th Street in Cleveland after receiving a report of a knife fight at around 5 p.m. Sept. 2. Officers placed one man in custody and waited for Cleveland police to arrive. 

Drunk man injured

A man was found lying face down in the lobby of the bleeding from his hand, eye and leg at around 3 a.m. Aug. 30. The man, who was reportedly drunk, was taken to the emergency room and treated for his injuries.

Felony drug charges

A man and a woman were both arrested and charged with felony drug possession following a traffic stop near the intersection of South Lane Drive and Hird Avenue at around 11:30 a.m. Aug. 30. 

Breaking and entering

The safe at the was broken into sometime during the night of Aug. 31. It was not reported whether cash was taken. The alarm was disabled, leading officers to suspect an employee was responsible.

Disturbance

A man who was thrown out of by a security wanted to file a report about security guards touching him at around 10 a.m. Sept. 2. The man was told to leave and asked not to return to the hospital. 

Friends don't let friends do drugs

A man in the told police that he loaned his friend money Sept. 2, and the friend bought drugs. The friend was arrested and charged with felony drug possession and disorderly conduct.
