Blotter: Assault; Attempted Burglary; Lying in the Street Naked

Assault
Two men and a woman were arrested and charged with assault following an incident at at around 8:20 p.m. July 2. They were arrested at a home in the 1400 block of Alameda Avenue.
Men on the roof

Police found three men on the roof of a business in the 18600 block of Detroit Avenue at around 5:30 a.m. July 3. Officers had received a report that one of the men was urinating off of the building. Police told the men to stay off of the roof.
Attempted burglary

A man in the 1200 block of Clifton Prado told police that someone used a fire extinguisher in an attempt to break down his door at around 5 p.m. July 3.
Identity theft
A woman in the 2000 block of Marlowe Avenue told police that someone tried to use her credit card to buy a computer on the Internet at around 6:15 p.m. July 3.
Lying in the street — naked
Police received a call about a man and a woman lying in the middle of Halstead Avenue — completely nude — at around 12:15 a.m. July 4. When officers show up, the naked couple was nowhere to be found.
