Bike Versus Car Ends With 12-Year-Old in the Hospital

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lakewood Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Car versus bike

A 12-year-old boy injured his wrist after he crashed into a vehicle in the 14100 block of Athens Avenue at around 8:30 p.m. April 8.

A woman told police that her ex-boyfriend pushed his way into her home in the 11800 block of Clifton Boulevard and “destroyed everything” at around 12:30 a.m. The man jumped out of the first-floor bedroom window before officers arrived, but they caught up with him in the 1200 block of Fry Avenue minutes later and charged him with disorderly conduct.

Intoxicated man taken to the hospital

An intoxicated man who fell and hit his head in the 15600 block of Detroit Avenue was taken to Lakewood Hospital with unknown — but non-life-threatening injuries — at around 12:45 a.m. April 7.

Robbery

A man told police that four men asked him for cigarettes in the 1600 block of W. 117th Street at around 9 p.m. April 8. When the man told them he didn’t have any, they took his cell phone and ran off. They were last spotted running toward the RTA station.

Disorderly conduct

A man was charged with disorderly conduct after he threatened to stab another man in the 1600 block of Warren Road at around 12:15 a.m. April 9. Police didn’t find a knife, but the man was charged with disorderly conduct.

Felony weapon charge

A man was charged with felony charge of carrying a concealed weapon, drug abuse and carrying a weapon while on disability in the 11800 block of Madison Avenue at around 2:30 a.m. April 9.
