The St. Edward High School football squad scored a few touchdowns in the first quarter of the first-round playoff game against Mayfield on Saturday afternoon at Byers Field in Parma.
That pretty much set the tone for the entire contest.
The cold temperatures kept the large crowds from coming out, but the Eagles put on a show.
The offense set the tempo, and the Eagles came home to Lakewood with a 55-27 win.
