As expected, your nominations rolled in.

So now, we’ll put it to a vote.

These don’t usually go anywhere, but it’s sort of a fun exercise.

After, a Lakewood Patch reader suggested that we look into property.

It’s not listed for sale.

The building, directly to the south of the , was most recently the home to North Coast Extreme. 

Dru Siley, the city’s director of planning and development, said even though the North Coast Extreme building isn’t on Detroit Avenue, it’s still a “perfect” location — particularly for businesses that don’t require curb appeal.

A fabric store would be great for all of us that sew, embroider, quilt, etc. Great Northern is very inconvenient , especially when all you need is thread, buttons or sewing machine needles.

I think Lakewood needs a good greeting card/gift store.
