Craig Paul Steiner, of Lakewood, Dies at 23

Calling hours are set from 5 to 9 p.m. Nov. 27; funeral service at 10 a.m. Nov. 28.

Craig Paul Steiner died Thursday at his Lakewood home.

He was 23 years old.

The native of Avon Lake enjoyed traveling and had a goal to visit every one of the 50 States, he also enjoyed playing video games. He was an animal lover having a unique bond with his dog, Bailey.

Steiner was family oriented, he had a special place in his heart for his late grandmother Joanne Bacha, but it was his fiancé Jacki and daughter Sophia Mari that were the lights of his life.

Caring for Sophia, hanging out her with and teaching her something new every day truly brought joy to his life.

Besides his daughter Sophia Mari and fiancé Jacqueline N. Kessler of Lakewood, he is survived by his parents Blair W. and Kelly (nee Bacha) Steiner, sister Katherine A. Dunn (Nathan) of Avon Lake and brothers Blair A. of Avon Lake and Michael K. "Mickey" of Kent. He is also survived by Uncles and Aunts Dennis Bacha (Ruthie), Paul Bacha (Donna), Michael Bacha (Patsy) and Elizabeth Stone (Donald).

Calling hours are set at the Busch Funeral Home 163 Avon-Belden Rd., Avon Lake, from 5 to 9 p.m. Nov. 27.

The funeral service will take place at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Wednesday, followed by burial at Brooklyn Heights Cemetery.
